What We Are Doing

Jamaica Reach To Recovery
This is the breast cancer support group of the Society. Its members are persons who have had breast cancer and can therefore offer empathetic counseling and tips for women newly diagnosed. Meetings are held every second Tuesday of each month at the Webster Memorial United Church Hall at 5:00pm.
Counseling
We offers counseling to individuals and families affected by cancer. Our counselors visit hospitals and homes offering support or persons can call our counseling lines at 927-8152 or 927-9275 or visit our office on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Mobile Screening
Mobile Pap smears. Screening is very convenient for many persons as it can be taken into the community therefore increasing access while decreasing time lost from work and transportation costs.
Brothers United Against Prostate Cancer
This is the Prostate cancer support cancer support group of the Society. Its members are persons who have had breast cancer and can therefore offer empathetic counseling and tips for women newly diagnosed. Please contact the Jamaica Cancer Society at 876 927-4265 to learn more.
Clinic Services
The clinic provides screening for Cervical, Breast and Prostate cancer. Located at 16 Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston 5. Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.00pm
Outreach Programmes
The outreach programme aims to provide education and awareness about cancer to individuals and groups. This is done by health talks and displays at health fairs, offices and other places, as well as community
